Parents, sometimes, it's best to be quiet
and allow our eyes to "hear" what's going on.
If God told you it was "payback time", young adults,
what would you be getting back?
Would it be good or bad?
Would God turn his back on you?
Is there anything you've done that
you would like in return?
Remember, we will receive what we have given.
Moms & Dads, take a break to;
reorganize - recenter - and
refill yourselves with God's word.
You'll need to focus a little
more for this next step in
your teenager's life.
When you grow from teenager to young adult and the
dirt has been shaken off of you; you can see where
you were; what and who were not good for you.
You will also have a clear focus on; what you
should be doing - less stress - and more peace.
● To the teenager, are you a believer? Before you answer that,
check to see what and who is it you believe (in). It will help you
to understand why you do what you do and where you're headed!
● God is not social media; it's just one of the many platforms
where he can be recognized for who he is and his word.
● From time to time; recognize and revisit that which are
your children's God-given talents/gifts. Keeping it before them,
will lead your children to operate in their gifts.
● Lead them to think deeper.
Tell your friends to search their hearts
for their own truths...Teens, you shall
lead your friends. Amen!
● Young people, think about it before you decide to give up.
He can not and we will not make God look like a fool;
it isn't possible. God believes in you!
● God speed, deliverance is just a prayer away.
Pray young people. Sincerely pray for growth in
whatever area that continues to trip you up.
● Young adults, were
you built or created?
[If you say, "built", is it because the environment you
grew up in made you who you are today?]
[If you say "created" is it because through all
your trials and mishaps, God created you
to be an over comer ?].
● Let us be mindful young believers;
God doesn't need our help. He chooses
to use us, so that we will understand
that He is in control of everything.
● Yes, the group of friends that you keep
feeling are a bad influence; they are.
Teenagers, go with the warning
signs and change your circle.
● Stress, worry and the need to fit in
are after your dreams. Don't allow
what's yours to be stolen by the
pressures of life. Teens & young adults,
do not hangout with them. It's a trap.
● Youth, remember, character and family background
both play essential roles in how we look at, respect and
obey God. Our heart is where God enters, so he can
navigate and cleanse us in areas we didn't
know needed cleansing.
● Parents, don't allow your children to lose respect
for you. Use some form of discipline when raising them.
Have a standard for respect!
● Yes, parenting can be very challenging, especially when
you have more than one child. This is why there should be
two parents in the home; but, it can also be hard then...
Either way, if it's not a God centered house,
the challenges will seem as if they're multiplied by 7.
We must pray for understanding in raising children.
● Tell the youth that the rain is for
washing and for growth. Their
troubles won't last always.
It's just a process to becoming Christ like.
● PRAY TO BE OPENED:
"I'm young at heart and mind.
With the can opener of your love & power,
Lord open the top of my heart and empty
the contents that is not of you. Refill me
with a double portion of your wisdom,
protection and obedience."
● Children of God...For some, God will
talk to directly, and for others he will
send one of his messengers. It doesn't
matter how he speaks;
receive and feast on his word.
● Wherever your faith is,
there you will find your children's also.
[The home is were the faith is.]
Parents check your; faith,
obedience and love levels for God.
Check your children's also.
● Younger generation,
you are not just a pearl.
You are a necklace,
pair of earrings
and a bracelet.
You are precious to the Lord!
● You were created & built to obey God.
- and walk
● Teenagers, the world is not your home.
God is your home; find your way to him
and learn how to stay in his presence.
● Keep your eyes on God. Parents, cover your home.
Ask God to give your household wisdom to
"not" run to or look at the enemy
for power, but to break his
● Love your children loudly,
telling them; you're proud
of them, happy for them,
amazed at how much
they're growing, you
love them and most
THEY'RE A CHILD
OF THE KING.
● Keep your eyes open youth and your heart covered.
Continual sin will drag you from one end of the earth
to the other; ultimately trying to dump you at the gates of hell.
Thank you Jesus, for your
seed of grace and mercy
that allowed a flower like
me to grow. I ask for your
continual guidance and
nurturing; so that I may
grow from a flower, into
the branch of your tree,
that you have destined
me to be. In your sweet
● Don't be an oppressor. God is working in and on
our youth; the way he processes them,
may be different than how he processes
your own youth. Be mindful and
encourage all youth, as he moves them along.
● Young adults, it's not "are they happy for you."
It's "have they ever been happy for you."
Check their history and then you'll better
understand the people around you.
● Parents, do we really intervene and help our children?
Or do we just "yell at them"? If we approach them
with respect and wisdom, they can walk away
disciplined and still have their dignity.
● Parenting 102:
Sit and talk with your children's friends.
Pray for them and spend time getting
to know who's hanging with your children.
● Students; you don't spend time with friends
and then make time for your studies.
Just the opposite is true; you spend
time on your studies and then
make time for friends.
● Before you pick your weapon and choose your battle;
check with God to see if it's his will. People of God,
do not go to war without asking the commander.
