He sat down in seat 123-A, and next to him was a man in seat 123-B. Passenger in seat A introduce himself as Bruce. Bruce began to talk about how nervous he was to travel, via plane. He also went on to say, how comfortable the other passengers were.
Bruce said the other passengers had their; iPads, cellphones, laptops and alcoholic beverages to ease their nervousness of flying. He stated that he didn’t want anything to take his mind off of his fear of flying; so he didn’t bring any of his devices.
Bruce continued on about his wife, children and extended family. He never asked passenger “B” his name, and he talked until his mouth was dry. Bruce got the attention of a stewardess, and asked for some water. The stewardess obliged his request.
He gulped down both cups of water and then requested two additional cups. He drank those rather slowly. He continued talking about his family then onto his reason for traveling. Bruce said he was headed to a business meeting.
As Bruce began to think about, who it was that he was sitting next to; he also thought about how much he had talked. When Bruce realized he had been rude to passenger “B,” he asked him to forgive him. He also asked passenger “B” his name.
“I am Jesus,” said passenger “B.” “My name is Jesus. I have been with you the whole time; when you left your house, kissed your family good-bye at the airport, and I even took a seat where I knew you would be sitting. You didn’t need your devices, because I am your comforter.” Bruce was in shock, but he was also relieved, because Jesus had accompanied him and knew his needs.
